So, so sorry, for the family. But to her family take joy in knowing that Janice's life was a LIFE WELL LIVED!
Sadly, that cannot be said about everyone. But oh what joy she has now, rejoicing with her Lord and Savior,
in a place eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, what the Lord has prepared for each of us. A song I have
heard lately that says it all . . . Some Call It Heaven, I Call It Home. Janice knows all about it now.
Praying for each of you.

I was devastated to hear of Janice's passing. One of the kindest, most loving people I have ever known. The CCHS Class of '71 has lost a cornerstone, but the Heavenly Choir has gained an angel. McKamey, Tandy, Joan, Doyle and the rest of the family and friends, our prayers are with you during this most difficult time. Janice should be a model for all of us to follow. Rest in Peace dear friend.

My favorite memory of Janice was Christmas before my father passed away, Janice dressed up like Santa Claus and went to the hospital and visited him. I will keep the family in my prayers. Karen Whitaker deBeaumont

Janice and I grew up together and spent many hours together for years,it was like we both had two wonderful Mothers. We created a duet team and sang at our church New Tazewell United Methodist as well as other churches by invitation. I will never forget that time in my.life it was some of my.happiest years I will miss her but you can believe she is definitely with Jesus singing her wonderful heart out. My heart breaks for Joan and Doyle Wayne just look up my dear friends and you will see her in the sky at night for she was a shining star. I.love you guys.

I remember the last funeral Janice and I provided music for was Bobby Parkey. He had chosen some interesting songs to be sung, one of which was Home on the Range. Janice and I were talking about it before the service and I sang the first words, home, home on the range, where the deer and the antelope play..and the wabbits! I explained that's how Bugs Bunny sang it! We cracked up, and she said she hoped she didn't sing those words! I remember the wonderful concert she gave and I was honored to be her accompanist. Of course, she gave me an afghan she had made! I was at the inauguration celebration when Janice sang for the governor! Wow, was our county represented well that night! I will always love her and will miss her very much....
