Obituary of Lonnie Mae Lester

Mrs. Lonnie Mae Lester age 84 of Tazewell, TN was born April 21, 1935 and passed away May 3, 2019 at her home with her family by her side. 

She was saved at an early age and belonged to Young’s Chapel Baptist Church.

 

She was preceded in death by her:

 

Husband of 62 years:  Rev. Johnny Lester

Parents:  Lon and Minnie Brooks

Son:  Bradley Keith Lester

Sisters:  Beatrice Minton and Pearlie Suton

 

She is survived by her Children: 

 

Diane Parrish

Randall and Shelia Lester

Allen and Cindy Lester

Gary Lester

Jerry Lester

David and Robin Lester

 

Sisters:  Ann Ogan and Jane Burchett

11 Grandchildren

11 Great Grandchildren

Special Caregiver:  Kathleen Delph

And a host of nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

 

The family will receive friends Monday May 6, 2019 from 6PM till 8PM at the

Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel.

 

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 11AM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Scott Allen officiating, the obituary will be read by Jason Parrish.  Music will be provided by Hilda Harrill and Scott Allen.

 

Burial will follow in the Lester-Margraves Cemetery.
