He served on the Board of Directors for the Sharps Chapel volunteer fire department. He was preceded in death by: Parents: Bailey and Bertha (Irvin) Brewer Brother: Hiriam C. Brewer He is survived by: Wife of 45 years: Loretta Lawson Brewer Sons: Mitch and wife Tammy Terry and wife Brenda Brothers: Wilse and wife Etta Charlie and wife Geneva Jack and wife Larvena Herb and wife Linda Grandchildren: Terry II, Brittany, Sheena, Stone, Samantha, and Cody Sisters in law: Goldie, Shirley, Violet, Daisy, and Peggy Brother in law: Bill Lawson And a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends The family will receive friends Monday, September 8, 2008 from 6 to 8 PM at Claiborne Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends Tuesday, September 9, 2008 from 12 until 2PM at Blackstar Church of God in KY. Funeral services will follow at 2PM with the Reverend J.C. Craig and Reverend Dewell Perry officiating. Music will be provided by the Blackstar Church of God choir. Burial will follow in the Saylor Cemetery.
