Smith age 69 of New Tazewell, TN was born October 04, 1938 and passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008 at his home. He was a member of Watson?s Chapel Church. He was preceded in death by his: Parents: Rev. Charlie and Viola (Russell) Smith Brothers: Charles Smith Infant Brother: Harley Smith He is survived by his: Wife of 34 years: Geraldine Smith of New Tazewell, TN Son: Bill Joe Smith and wife Sharon Daughter: Wendy Lou Smith Bussell and husband Phillip Bussell Granddaughters: Emily Grace, Megan Sue, Alexandria Daniel, and Caitlyn Joelle Brothers: Ronnie and Rita Smith of New Tazewell, TN Mike and Jackie Smith of New Tazewell, TN Windell and Ruth Smith of Knoxville, TN Sisters: Mrs. Rosella Toby of Summitville, IN Mrs. Arlene Kelly of Michigantown, IN Mrs. Shirley Watson of Corryton, TN And a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 28, 2008 from 5 until 7 PM in the Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services to follow at 7 PM with Reverend Dallas Herrell, Reverend Joe Laws and Reverend Tommy Russell officiating. Music will be provided by Watson?s Chapel Church Choir. Burial will be Sunday, June 29, 2008 at 10 AM in the Greer Cemetery. Pallbearers: Ronnie Smith, Mike Smith, Rick Smith, Brandon Price, Jamie Smith, Jermiah Baker, Paul Leedy, and Jason Ellis.
