She was a member of the Underwood Grove Baptist Church. Elsie and Emery enjoyed camping and campground worship services. She was preceded in death by her: Parents: John W. and Lottie (Shoffner) Tuttle Sisters: Alice (Tuttle) Ridings Rosie (Tuttle) Guy Mary Inez (Tuttle) Jones Brothers: James, Shelby, and Tilman, Esco, and General Tuttle She is survived by her: Husband of 45 years: Emery Minton, Sr. of Arthur, TN Son: Emery Minton, Jr. and wife Beth of Harrogate, TN Daughter: Joyce Schlemmer of Charlotte, NC Grandchildren: Jonathan (Cuzzie) Schlemmer, Laura (L.B.) Minton, and Emery Minton III (Trae) Daughter By Heart: Stephanie Patterson of Elizabethtown, KY Sister: Beatrice McMurray of Arthur, TN Brothers and Sisters-in-law: Robert (Bob) and Roxie Tuttle of Arthur, TN Clyde and Mary Lou Tuttle of Tazewell, TN Carson (Buck) Tuttle of Arthur, TN Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 PM Thursday, March 13, 2008 at the Pump Springs Baptist Church in Harrogate with funeral services to follow at 8:00 PM at the Pump Springs Baptist Church with the Reverend Donnie Bannister and Reverend Gary Miller officiating. Eulogy by Glen Day. Music will be provided by Linda Lankford. Graveside services will be Friday, March 14, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Shoffner Cemetery.
