Obituary of Thelma Christene Partin

Mrs. Thelma Christene Partin age 73 of Speedwell was born June 5, 1948 and passed away at her home December 4, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Thelma was a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother.

 

She is preceded in death by her:

Father: Lee Carroll

Husbands: Nelson Collinsworth and Jim Partin

Brothers: Michael Ray Carroll and Roger Carroll

 

She is survived by her:

Mother: Marie Hopper

Children: Dale Collinsworth and wife Diana

Melissa Seals and husband Ronald

Dustin Partin and Regan Lee

Sister: Darlene Adams

6 Grandchildren

4 Great Grandchildren

 

Several nieces, nephews, and many other relative and friends

 

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.

 

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 5 PM till 7 PM with funeral services to follow at 7 PM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Herrell officiating. Music will be provided by Jason Hopkins.

 

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 11 AM in the Riverview Cemetery

Eddie Seals, Don Seals, and James Brashears
