Obituary of Jason David Parrish

Mr. Jason David Parrish age 40 of Tazewell was born November 13, 1980 and went to be with the Lord August 6, 2021. He was saved at an early age and was a member of Springdale Baptist Church. Jason was an avid sports fan especially when his children were playing. He thoroughly enjoyed coaching little league and loved supporting Alabama football. Jason loved the Lord from an early age, he participated in mission trips, youth crusades, and preached the Gospel in various churches. He was employed by England’s Manufacturing.

He is preceded in death by his: Grandparents: Rev. Johnny and Lonnie Mae Lester

Robert and Ressie Parrish

Uncle: Keith Lester

Aunts: Margaret Mallicoat and Sally Estes

He is survived by the love of his life for 19 years and the mother of his children: Alexis Parrish

Children: Alex, Madison, and Barrett

Mother: Diane Parrish

Father: David Parrish and wife Linda

Sister: Melissa Allen and husband Scott

Brother: Brandon Parrish and wife Shea

Mother-in-law: Maria Bailey

And a host of other special family and friends

The family will receive friends Monday, August 9, 2021 from 4 PM till 7 PM with funeral services to follow at 7 PM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Ousley and the Rev. John Hatfield officiating. Music will be provided by Rhonda and Tim Young.

Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 10 AM in the Lester-Margraves Cemetery.
