Obituary of Jennifer Venica Goins

Jennifer Venica Goins “Fuzz”, age 62 of Tazewell, TN, passed away May 4, 2021 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. She was born on November 20, 1958 to Clarence and the late Iva Jean Goins of Tazewell. Jennifer was a wonderful mother who devoted her entire life and heart to her two children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mother Iva Jean Goins, grandchildren: Jocelyn and Connor Bishop Goins, Payton and Jaycee Lawson, nephews: Jerry Michael Goins and Jackson Chandler Trent.

She is survived by her Father Clarence (CL) Goins of Tazewell. Son Jeremy (Britney) Goins of Tazewell. Chasity Goins (Quinton Lawson) of Tazewell. Sisters: Sylvia Snodgrass (Milford) of Tazewell and Sandra Thompson of Richmond, KY. Brother: Jerry Goins (Pearl) of Oak Ridge, TN. Nephews: Greg Trent of Richmond, KY, Todd Goins of Tazewell, and Jody Goins (Ashley) of Harrogate, TN. Nieces: Paula Goins of Tazewell and Tahlena Snodgrass of Tazewell. Grandchildren: Aaliyah, Gavyn, and Jacoby Lawson. Jaylen, Jazzie, Wynter, and Bishop Goins all of Tazewell. Special daughter: Jamie Zion Goins. Special son: Eric McDonald. Special friends: Lynne Mahon, Julie Parkey, and Jane Tucker.

And a host of many relatives and friends.

The family will recive friends Friday May, 7, 2021 from 6 PM till 8 PM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 10 AM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bo Simpson officiating. Music will be provided by Elizabeth Buis. Burial will follow in the Goins Family Cemetery in Tazewell.
