Obituary of Stacy Daneen Gilbert
Stacy Daneen Gilbert, Age 56, passed away unexpectedly at home in Tazewell, TN, Friday, April 16, 2021.Stacy was born on May 24, 1964, in Michigan to Roger and Sharon VanWormer. She graduated from Hopkins High School, class of 1982. After high school, she lived in Dorr and Allegan, Michigan, working at Tiara Yachts, and later moved to Tazewell, TN. Stacy loved and was loved by her co-worker friends at England Furniture in New Tazewell.
Stacy was preceded in death by her parents, Roger VanWormer and Sharon Moran. She is survived by her loving children, Ricky (Melissa) Gilbert of Allegan, James Gilbert of Allegan, Ken (Aimee) TerMeer of Allegan, Jeremy Thompson of Allegan, Dale Oisten and Kristen Oisten of Tazewell, TN; four grandchildren, Caydence and Kyler Gilbert, and Landen and Alaina TerMeer and baby boy TerMeer due in August. Stacy also leaves behind her sister Kim Bush (Ken Hunter) of Freeport, Michigan and brother Roger VanWormer (Robin) of Howard City, Michigan. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and her special fur baby, Cow.
Stacy had many good friends who remember her sense of humor and sarcasm. You always knew where you stood with her, she never sugar-coated anything. Stacy enjoyed spending time with her kids, watching movies, and listening to Metallica.
