Obituary of Kay Ely Morelock

Kay Ely Morelock (Momma Kay) was born in Middlesboro, Ky and passed away Nov. 11, 2020 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. She was saved at a young age and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Proctorville, OH. Kay received her degree in Nursing at LMU and enjoyed a 35 year career as an RN and her favorite as a flight nurse, devoting her life to a profession she loved. She was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Nell Ely, brother Bill Ely and the Love of her life Clyde Stogner. She is survived by her children Bobby Morelock (Jodi) and Shannon Morelock (Billy) Grandchildren: Jacob Green, Sydney and Seth Morelock Sisters: Donna Sluss and husband Mark of Ashland, Ky Gerry Rice and husband Robert of Rockwood, TN And a host of several nieces and nephews and many other loving friends and relatives Special friends at FSMC: Linda Wright and Cathy Gooden Bobby and Shannon would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the staff in the CVICU for the love and excellent care given to their Mother. Per Kay's request she will be cremated and the family will hold a private service at a later date. ~Claiborne-Overholt is honored to be serving the family~
