Obituary of Jack Johnson

Mr. Andrew “Jack” Jackson Johnson age 88 of New Tazewell, TN was born November 5, 1931 and went home to be with the Lord October 27, 2020. Jack retired from the Claiborne County school system as a bus driver after 22 years of service. Jack was a believer in Christ and saved at an early age. He was a devout christian of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his: Parents: Tilmon and Lottie “Hopper” Johnson Wife: Wandza Louise Johnson Brother: Odra Johnson Sisters: Georgette Mayes and Jewell Collins He is survived by his: Sons: Dave and Cissy Johnson Steve and Debbie Johnson Tim and Scarlett Johnson Daughter: Teresa Johnson and Allen Day Grandchildren: Laura Harrison, Steven Johnson, Jennifer Davis, Jeremy Johnson, Samantha Harvey, Timmy Dale Johnson, Ashley Mason, and Lisa Cupp Great-Grandchildren: Addison, Emery, and Ella Harrison Trey, Alyssa, and Taylor Harrison Brooks Davis, Nora Johnson, Nathan Johnson, John Harvey, Samuel Harvey, Dylan Turner, Nolan Cupp, Aubry Cupp, and Garrett Mason And a host of many nieces, nephews and many other loving friends and relatives. Friends may come by the Claiborne ~ Overholt Funeral Home on Thursday October 29, 2020 from 5PM to 7PM. (MASK ARE REQUESTED). Family and Friends will meet at the Cemetery for Graveside Services that will be conducted Friday, October 30, 2020 at 11AM in the Irish Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The Rev. Tommy Russell & The Rev. Tommy Louthan will be officiating. Music will be provided by Jerry and Carolyn Epperson. Pallbearers: Dave Johnson, Steve Johnson, Tim Johnson, Allen Day, Timmy Dale Johnson, and Jeremy Johnson
