Obituary of Harold Collins

Mr. Harold Collins age 88 of New Tazewell, TN was born December 29, 1931 and passed away September 2, 2020 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was a member of Sweet Hills Church. Mr. Collins retired from the US Army after 22 years of service. He is preceded in death by his: Parents: Charlie and Cora Collins Sister: Deloris H. Price He is survived by his: Loving wife: Rebecca Loveday Collins Sons: Tony Collins Keith Collins Step-children: Hannah Yeary, Bill Loveday and Tim Loveday Brothers: Kenneth R. Collins and wife Lavenda Charles E. Collins Sisters: Wilma C. Duke and husband Herman Lavenda G. Mason and husband Eugene Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren A host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday September 3, 2020 from 5PM till 7PM at the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 4, 2020 at 11AM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Ross and the Rev Jeff Eversole officiating. Music will be provided by the Grandchildren. Graveside service will follow in the Harrogate Cemetery with Military Honors Pallbearers: Logan England, Josh Howerton, Jeff Eversole, Rodney Mason, Keith Steven Collins, and Scott Collins.
